Merry Christmas from Taipei 2007!!

We don't get Christmas Day off unfortunately, but we made do and had a nice quiet celebration on Monday night with a simple dinner (thank you store-bought roast chicken!) and a bottle of wine (thank you Chile!).

In addition to the roast chicken, Robyn cooked up delicious sides of potato, pumpkin and string beans. We had christmas pudding for dessert...

We were quite impressed with the store-bought roast chicken

And we opened mom's gift -- thanks for the charming snowman, stuffed with all the delectable treats...Youyu remains hopeful that she'll get a nibble

And thanks for the videos as well...after dinner, we watched an episode of 'Are You Being Served?'

And this is the next morning, lovely day today and the snowman reminds us of a winter half a world away.
